Looking out over the St Johns River, taken from the old 415 bridge in Sanford, FL. I took my time composing the shot and setting up the camera, and then the birds flew into frame just in time.
I think they're ibis. At the time I thought they were herons, but their bills are curved and their legs are shorter than a heron's.
