Wow, awesome...Huge fan of sunsets, and it's always interesting to see pics of them that don't actually have the sun in them, so all you're seeing is their effect...especially when their effect is as great as this :)

Thanks. I missed the sun by a few minutes as I was winding my way up the mountain. I was disappointed at first, but sometimes the best pictures come after the sun actually sets.

Yeah. In the past I've found that if the sun's still just up, you end up either over-exposing one part of the photo or under-exposing another. But the beautiful colours stay for a while and they're often easier to capture without the sun there.

Thanks. I was happy because this was my 2nd trip up to Dobbins Point. The first night, the sky was bland and entirely uncooperative.
